Norma Cordeiro is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor with over 25 years of experience working in disability services. Currently, she is a Supervising Counselor for NJ-DVRS. In her role as a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor, she assisted over two hundred NJ-DVRS consumers to gain competitive employment. As Director of Programs at Pathways to Independence Inc., she implemented new opportunities to expand and improve services and created several highly successful and presently operational programs. She serves on three executive boards and is a recognized advocate for individuals with disabilities. She received the Outstanding Contributions to Rehabilitation Counseling Services Award -UMDNJ 2012, the Clinical Excellence Award -UMDNJ 2004, the Stanley S. Bergen Junior Alumni Medal of Excellence for Clinical Skills -UMDNJ 2005 and the Pathways to Independence Employee of the Year Award, 1989. She is a published co-author of articles in the International Journal of Rehabilitation and American Journal of Psychiatric Rehabilitation.

Nanci has worked as a Rehabilitation Counelor providing services for individuals with disabilities for over 15 years. She is currently employed as a Senior Vocational Rehabilitation Counselow with the New Jersey Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (NJDVRS). She earned a Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from Montclair State University and is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. She is proud of her contribution to the development and implementation of NJDVRS policy and participation in the statewide training for Substance Use Disorder couneling, best practices and procedures. She is a member of the Essex County Division of Mental Health & Addiction Services Task Force for Co-Occuring Disorders. Prior to DVRS, she was the Program Coordinator and Vocational Counselor for a newly implemented customer service skills training progam at JVS of Metrowest, that continues to train individual in this industry. She received a scholarship from the Rehabilitation Services Administration and recently completed educational requirements and working towards licensures to work as a Licensed Professional Counselor in New Jersey. She as also also selected as a the first recipient of the Ron Coun Award for Excellence in Jewish Communal Service in 2004.

Greg has served people with disabilities, in various capacities, since 1986. He is currently Director of Employment of Services for The Family Resource Network, overseeing the New Jersey Work Incentives Network Support (NJWINS), Getting to Work (GTW) and Wireless Work programs. NJWINS assists SSI and SSDI beneficiaries to utilize available work incentives while attempting to start, continue, or augment work. These work incentives allow a beneficiary to keep his/her benefit for as long as they are needed. GTW provides employment support services to people with any type of disability. Employment Support Services involve assistance to prepare for, find, and retain work. In addition, Wireless Work is a new program, which assists those with mobility disabilities to establish virtual networks in order to conduct job search, increase skill level and further careers. Greg has written and won grants with SSA, NJDDS, NJDVRS and Kessler Foundation to support this programming. He continues to write grants for present and future employment and benefits planning related programming.

Elayne has been working in the field of vocational rehabilitation for more than 30 years and has extensive experience helping people with disabilities achieve successful employment outcomes. She has a 27 year history of employment with the NJ Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services as a Rehabilitation counselor and Program Development Specialist. In her current position as Project Coordinator for JVS Mobile Evaluations, she supervises a team of evaluators and conducts mobile vocational evaluations. Elayne is a long time member of NRA and served as President of NJRA, Northern Affiliate and Treasurer of NERA. She is a recipient of the NJRA Meritorious Service Award.

Ruth has over 25 years of experience in the field of vocational rehabilitation. Ms. Kaluski is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She was the Associate Director of Job Placement and Veterans? Services at ICD, a community based outpatient rehabilitation facility in New York City. Currently she is the Director of the Career Connection Employment Resource Institute at the Mental Health Association in New Jersey. Ms. Kaluski is a certified Mental Health First Aid instructor for with designations to teach the Adult, Youth, Veterans, and Public Safety Mental Health First Aid Curriculums. Ms. Kaluski holds a Master of Science Degree from the Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling program at the University of Wisconsin at Madison.
Ellen has recently completed her Master?s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Rutgers University in May, 2014 and is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. She has been working in the field at JVS since February, 2009 as a Coordinator of Placement Services. Ellen is particularly proud that she has placed over 200 individuals in competitive employment during her tenure. At JVS, Ellen works with individuals with varied disabilities, however a large portion are individuals who are Deaf or hard of hearing. In order to better communicate with the clients who are Deaf, she has completed an ASL class. Ellen also spends her time implementing evaluations, working with high school students who are transitioning to work, and providing case management.
Ellen?s background includes an undergraduate degree in Business/Economics from SUNY Oneonta and her previous employment for 12 years, was at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ. She was a Patient Advocate who acted as a liaison to patients, families, and medical staff, while providing information and emotional support, often during stressful situations.
Rebecca Shulman is currently employed as an

NJ. Rebecca retired from the State of New Jersey?s Department of Labor
and Workforce Development
after a 33 year career with the Division of Vocational Rehabilitation
Services (DVRS.) When she retired, Rebecca was Chief of Field Services
responsible for the operation of DVRS offices in Essex, Union,
Middlesex, Somerset, Hunterdon, Monmouth and Mercer
Counties. Her career at DVRS started with a position as a Vocational
Rehabilitation Counselor and progressed to positions as a Rehabilitation
Specialist, a Program Planning and Development Specialist and an Office
Manager prior to becoming a Field Chief.
Rebecca has a Master?s degree in Counseling and Personnel Services and
is a New Jersey Licensed and Nationally Certified Rehabilitation
Adrian serves as Director of Professional Services at Jersey Cape Diagnostic, Training and Opportunity Center, Inc., an agency providing a range of employment services for individuals with disabilities and other barriers in Cape May County, NJ.
In that role, she oversees a Transitional Employment Program which provides per-vocational training and employment services to adults with significant disabilities. She also manages two supported employment programs; one funded by DMHAS for individuals with psychiatric disabilities and another by DVRS for those with a wide range of disabilities.
Adrian is a strong advocate for best practices in rehabilitation services that assist a person to live, learn, work and flourish within the community of their choice. She believes the highest quality services are delivered by providers who are a part of that very same community. She is dedicated to help develop and grow innovative programs that provide the most value to the ever-changing funding streams while simultaneously and consistently meeting the needs of those served.
Although most of Adrian?s 20 years of experience in the field of rehabilitation have been spent at Community Rehabilitation Programs (CRPs) she also worked for many years as an intensive in-home therapist with children and their families. Adrian is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, a 2004 recipient of the Clinical Excellence Award and proud graduate from University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ.
